This might be one of my favorite DIYs! Floating shelves can be so expensive, especially high quality ones, for heavy items in a large space. I used lumber from Lowes and sand + stained them to match the kitchen colors. Then, installed them using floating shelf brackets, and that's it!! They are absolutely STUNNING, you would have never guessed these are not worth 100s of dollars!
